Morning Light.....

Ah...August in Texas.
That means HOT and HUMID....and, little to NO rain.

So, there is watering to be done.
Since I'm so smart (ha!), I have lots of containers.  That means watering every day.

Morning...before the Death Star of the sun gets too high...is the best time.

Sometimes though, you need to stop and LOOK at the new day.

LOOK at the way the light plays on the flowers.

LOOK at the way the light shines through the leaves.

LOOK at the way the light sets a pot of grass aglow.

LOOK at the way the light glistens on bubbling water.

LOOK at the way the light welcomes us into the new day.

This is the day the Lord has made,
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Have a Great Weekend...

  1. Amen! And that first sky photo rivals even our desert skies, which is not easy! I'm enjoying the morning light for you all - on my sister's shady deck at 8200' in the mountains W of Denver. Not missing Abq, or even Denver. Something about this time of day, I think it's important to go out and enjoy it and start the day. Great captures of the light, especially that water bubbling.
