Jeruselem Sage...

I love Jeruselem Sage.  Last year, we didn't get many of those pretty,
Dr. Seuss type blooms.

I don't think that will be the case, this year.  Look at all those buds.

It's going to be FULL.  I can't wait.

Happy Gardening...

  1. Linda, Jerusalem Sage is such a wonderful plant. I just love it! Unfortunately, it is one of those plants I can never get to grow. I think it hates Houston’s heat and humidity. Last year, I tried it in a pot, but it still just melted. Please post more photos as it blooms, so I can live vicariously!

  2. Thanks for reminding me of this plant. GREAT drought-tolerance, deer don't eat it and lovely blooms.

    Does it attract butterflies/bees?

    1. The butterflies and bees like it. So do hummers. We didn't have many blooms last year, so can't remember just how much they liked it. Guess this year, we'll see.
One of our neighbors...who does NOTHING to her yard....has a huge one in front of her house. It lasted last summer with NO water, I'm sure. She believes in 'Texas Natural'. :)
