Linda, Jerusalem Sage is such a wonderful plant. I just love it! Unfortunately, it is one of those plants I can never get to grow. I think it hates Houston’s heat and humidity. Last year, I tried it in a pot, but it still just melted. Please post more photos as it blooms, so I can live vicariously!
Thanks for reminding me of this plant. GREAT drought-tolerance, deer don't eat it and lovely blooms. Does it attract butterflies/bees?
The butterflies and bees like it. So do hummers. We didn't have many blooms last year, so can't remember just how much they liked it. Guess this year, we'll see.One of our neighbors...who does NOTHING to her yard....has a huge one in front of her house. It lasted last summer with NO water, I'm sure. She believes in 'Texas Natural'. :)
I love it- Dr. Seuss blooms. Perfect. Too funny!!!! Yours looks great!!!! Yes you will have loads of blooms. Such a great plant!
Wow. Can't wait to see the blooms.
