Grrrr.... We were on our way to Europe recently when we got a picture of four of them in my back yard! Somehow, they knew that we left! But, aren't they beautiful?

Awww - the babies are always adorable, I think. Right up until I catch them in the act of yanking something they aren't going to like to eat out of the ground because they don't know any better yet.
I've seen a few does that don't look pregnant any longer, but I haven't seen any little ones out and about yet. Won't this year's crop of baby deer be surprised when the rains stop and the heat returns! Wet and cool is all they know of the world so far.

Welcome to this patchwork of gardens, birds, and critters....friends and family....among the deer and limestone. Thanks for stopping by.
We see evidence of a corvine square dance in the pea patch.
