Seeing Green....

We had rain last weekend....glorious, delicious RAIN.

Each day, we've gotten a little more GREEN.

More and more of these showing up.  That's Horse Herb.  It's a native ground cover.

And, grass.

Green, green everywhere.

Remember the last post?  I showed you the back of the house.  Brown, brown.

By yesterday, it was looking a bit greener.

And, this morning...greener still.

You can almost watch it grow.  That water from Heaven can really make a difference.
We're not out of the woods, yet.  But, all this green gives some hope.

I have tons of things to do outside.  With the cooler temperatures, they just might get done.

Have a great weekend.

Happy Gardening...

  1. It's wonderful! Very similar things happening here, right down to the radishes.

  2. That is a nice transformation - that before pic you showed a while back was creepy in that the ground looked drier than the desert, with those live oaks right there. Glad to see green!

  6. Green, green, green. There's even more this morning...along with some fog.
Looking forward to even cooler temps...yesterday was a bit warm at the game...but, the cold front will push away rain chances in the gulf....ugh

Go ahead, greggo...rub it in. We made some big mistakes.
But, remember...we have a really young team. Our now Starting Quarterback is a true freshman...very young kid. So....watch out next year. :)
